It seems like just yesterday when I walked out onto the ice on Lake Minnewaska to photograph the final sunset of 1999…you know, just in case…
But now, here we are in 2016 and it doesn’t feel any different than 2015. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that I spent all day today doing the same thing I did all day yesterday. Paperwork. Endless stacks of paperwork. That isn’t quite how I wanted to spend the holiday, but it is what it is and sometimes we all have to do things we’d rather not have to do.
Meanwhile, I’m excited that the arrival of January 1st means that Dust of Earth should be returning to my desk in the near future and I can begin to put the final touches on a story that I am very excited about. A story that I hope all of you will enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing. In the meantime, if you haven’t already checked it out…have a peek at Days of Chaos for a little backstory novella!
Just knowing Dust of Earth will be completed soon has already made 2016 a memorable year for me. What a great way to start!
But enough about me…what great thing has already happened to make 2016 memorable for you?
