Hi everyone! I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. That is certainly not how I intended for this blog to go. I’ve been here, working away on my book project and… I finished it! Well, I finished the first draft, did the revision, proof-read it about a dozen times, and then sent it off to seven volunteer beta-readers. …And then I discovered typos and spelling errors on the very first page. Typical.

But, the important thing is…I set out to write a full-length novel in three months and I did, with time to spare, even! <pats self on back> Now, I can sit back and wait for feedback from the beta readers. In the meantime…I really need to figure out this website stuff. (Can you hear my brain cringing inside my skull?)

I don’t know about anyone else, but I find the whole online marketing thing intimidating. I don’t understand most of the jargon, and I’ve never been a techy-minded person. (I still have a flip phone…and a blu-ray player I don’t know how to program…)  I’m certain I will make many mistakes as I try to figure it out. So, if you happen to pop in and notice this page has changed for the worst, please just laugh and check back again in a few days. Maybe it will be even worse and you can have an even bigger laugh. But…I WILL figure it out eventually. I promise.

P.S. Do you like the frog? He was only about a half an inch long and not easy to photograph. (yes, I really took that photo myself!)

  2. you’re multi-talented Sallie! You can write and take awesome photos! As for the techy stuff, I’m not very good at it either but I know you can figure it out. It will be funny to read about your journey through all of this.
